My
Story

Hi all, everyone, anyone, no one, mum and maybe the 4 strangers that are interested in this blog.

I wanted to start a blog to create a platform in which to share experiences, knowledge (and lack of knowledge), to bring people together and also get feedback on what content people would be interested in seeing.

About me:

I am a keen cyclist, interested in racing, group rides, cycling holidays and just generally getting out on my bike and getting others into the great sport of cycling.

I started cycling when I was around 10 years old, when my dad took me on a 50 mile ride on the most dilapidated hybrid bike (yes I did need a rescue team). However, after getting my first road bike at 11, this started my love for cycling and grew my obsession from there!

Since then I have done so much more in the world of cycling… Ive done several cycle holidays, joined a university cycle club, became women’s captain of the club, joined local cycle clubs, joined a race team, done more cycle holidays. Most valuably gaining so many experiences and meeting so many different people along the way.

Currently my main focus is on racing my bike! I tried doing a few crit races while at university, but I was not fit enough to do very well. Since then, I have improved my fitness and worked towards this new goal. Last year I completed my first proper race season! I thoroughly enjoyed myself, pushing my limits and seeing how far I could get. This year I want to build on the experience I have gained as a racer and really focus on enjoying every moment.
